Written August 20th, 2026 Sage Flat Campground, Big Pine Creek, California I forgot to bring a book on this weeklong trip to the mountains. Perhaps I subconsciously wanted to face some shit. Or maybe I was just rushed in leaving the house. But either way, after 4 days of camping alone, I was running out of decent food.
